Home Visit

At the heart of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul is the Home Visit Program. This special program encourages Vincentian volunteers the opportunity to visit our friends-in-need in their homes.

By visiting our friends, Vincentians experience first-hand their living conditions and needs. Although Vincentians are not case workers, they do undergo special training to learn how to interact with our community with compassion and dignity.

Once Vincentians enter the homes of our friends, Vincentians allow the Holy Spirit to guide them in their interaction with our friends. They open their hearts to the needs of the person and treat them with dignity.

Vincentians know that people who need help are financially limited. Therefore, Vincentians drive to them.
